The Great American Tractor Pull

Fairs are one of the great past times of Summer...especially if you are going for the tractor pulls!

It is pretty impressive to see a tractor pull from the side lines, but have you ever seen it from the driver's point of view?    Enjoy this video and watch the dirt go flyin'...

Ever since the 1860's when farmers would boast about how much their horse could pull, it was a competition to see who had the most power...even if it was "horse" power.

The first motorized vehicle pull was held in 1929 at Vaughansville, Missouri.  However, it wasn't until the 50's and 60's when the sport really became popular.

For all you tractor pull fans, check out this great model of the Case IH Magnumator Puller Tractor made by Spec-Cast.
